What’s it really like to work at Sovendus? Well, there’s always something happening! Employees in our different corporate areas work every day to achieve their full potential, helping to keep Sovendus on a growth trajectory.
Sovendus GmbH is divided across multiple locations: In addition to our headquarters in Karlsruhe, we also have offices in Freiburg, Ulm, Offenburg, Goslar, and Almere in the Netherlands.
Sovendus just grows and grows: Although we started with a small team of under 10 employees, today we’ve grown to a clever and astute workforce of over 100 employees at our different locations.
And we're not lacking in the fun department, either! We believe it's important to promote a team spirit, which is why we regularly offer joint activities within the company. Here are some examples:
- Our weekly lunch: Every Friday, we organise a rotating menu of catered food at our different locations, then spend the joint meal talking over the week. We use this comfortable setting to share news, and areas that don't often come in contact during the week get the chance to swap ideas.
- Our yoga class, 2x per week: Every Monday evening and every Thursday morning, our dynamic yoga teacher motivates the workforce during a varied hour-long class, inviting them to meditate, rest, relax, and sweat a little too. Participants can decide whether they want to start the day with an energy boost, or ring in closing time with a yoga class.
- Our regular team events: Whether it’s a drumming workshop, a mystery to solve, or our joint year-end celebration – we regularly organise team events and parties that help us get active together, get to know our colleagues better, and relax with one another and good food. Great team – successful teamwork!
Are you wondering what areas make up Sovendus? Here's a brief introduction to the different teams in our company.
This international team advises our partner shops in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and The Netherlands, as well as in the UK, France, and Spain.
This department's work is all about acquiring new partners, be they online shops or other web portals and potential partners.
Marketing Services is responsible for all of the company's communications and external presentation, i.e. for trade fair participations, marketing materials, and the Sovendus web presence.
Our personnel area handles any concerns the workforce may have – from recruiting to administration and personnel development. And, of course, our HR professionals always have an open ear for their colleagues!
User Experience & Graphics
The UX team completes tests, for instance, to continuously optimise the usability of Sovendus services. The creative minds that make up the Campaign team deal with creating campaigns and serving subscribers to our Sovendus newsletter, and our graphics & design professionals create all of the graphics for our partners.
At Business Intelligence, everything revolves around data and analysis. Our clever data analysts prepare a large number of reports, serving as key contacts for the other areas of the company.
Our IT department first ensures that internal company technology is working well, and that all employees are equipped with the best possible tech tools. In addition, they also handle development related to the Sovendus backend as well as technical implementation, all while driving product development.
The E-Mail Marketing team is responsible for planning and implementing stand-alone mailings to our customers. They appeal to target audiences of our campaigns alongside shops, send out mailings, analyse campaigns, and manage e-mail distribution lists.
Our Press & Sales area is responsible for our incentive offers and works closely with publishers and partners. This allows the Product Management Team to ensure our “Select” product is further expanded, providing our partners’ online shoppers with even more attractive incentives.
This is where to find the number crunchers! Our entire bookkeeping department is housed within Finance, and the area also monitors KPIs and corporate figures.
